Everyday with you Christy are the best memories of my life. Going to clubs in London and you taking over the dance floor with your moves were priceless. I miss that smile and laugh of yours, but I know all is well because you are always with me in my heart.

Christy,

I hate that I'm now just finding this website, but you are always in my thoughts. I wish I could have said goodbye almost three years ago when you went home, but I know you are no longer in pain and with Christ. I am thankful for the fun we had in "Chambana" at U of I, and am grateful that you were able to live out your dream and live in California. I pray for your family and friends that they will find comfort knowing that you are with Jesus and I look forward to seeing you again.

Love,

Stephanie Cole

Pam & Maggie Asangong Sister Ruth be strong as always January 6, 2011

Sister Ruth only God knows why things happen the way they do.

We were deeply saddened to hear of your loss. God saw Christy getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes you watched her, and saw her pass away. Although we love Christy dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

We know it may be difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. Hold tight to those sweet memories for strength. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. Please take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.

Remember that we love and care about you.

Pam and Maggie Asangong.

To Ruth and Family:

My sincere condolences and sympathy for the shocking and brutal loss of Christy, but be strong my dear sister and continue to live your life fully, completely, and without ambivalence. This is the way God has designed things according to His own agenda. This is how He has designed us and can dispose of us at the time of his choosing. Do not worry, Christy has gone home to her Maker. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
